She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil Roy Beasley; her parents, Robert Edwards and Rosalie White Edwards; and her sisters, Barbara and Glenda (Robert, Jr.).

She is survived by: her sister Debra Rowell (Marilyn). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She volunteered and donated her time to Jefferson Parish Food Bank for many years and to St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Avondale for many years.
