It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Gilbert Hicks (Marrero, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on November 8, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Horace Gilbert; her son Arvil Hicks III; and her sibling Gail Gibson. She is survived by: her husband Arvil Hicks, Jr.; her children, Harley Hicks, Sr. (Rhonda), Kim H. Domangue (Kerry Taravella) and Michael Hicks; her brother Robert Gilbert; and her son-in-law Barry Domangue. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
