With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Butler Massey of Marrero, Louisiana, born in Flora, Mississippi, who passed away on October 16, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Willie Massey, Sr.; her son Ray Massey (Kathtreen); her parents, Sarah Butler and LaSalle Butler; and her sibling Charlie Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Willie, Jr. (Marjorie), Fredrick, Kevin Massey, Terry Wallace (Matthew, Jr.), Sarah Jones (Leslie), Taisha Massey (Terrence Hunter, Sr.) and Lakeisha Massey; her aunt Willie E. Butler; her siblings, Ruthie Vane, Lorean Hamilton and Flora McQuitter; and her niece Earnestine. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and neighbors.
