It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mario Isidoro Magaña (Marrero, Louisiana), who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Mario Isidoro may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his stepson Torrin Strickland; his mother-in-law Faye Planche; and his close friend Mason McStay. He is survived by: his father Mario; his sister Jacquelyn "Jackie" Magaña Hickman; his mother Molly Mayeaux Charles; and his stepfather Waldo Charles.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
