With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Marie Carter of Marrero, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 19, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold Carter; her parent Willie Bruno; her grandmother Olivia Morton; and her siblings, Terry Craft and Yolanda Bruno.
She is survived by: her children, Darrick Hamilton (Racquel), Shawn Bruno and Precentous Carter (Demond); her parent Emelda Brooks; and her siblings, Eugene Brooks, Carla Robinson (Donald), Patricia Brown (Donald) and Anita Current (Joseph). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Second Zion Baptist Church (6520 Second Zion Ave, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
