It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy J. Bergeron of Marrero, Louisiana, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Deanna Bruno Bergeron; his parents, Henry Bergeron and Anita Bergeron; his siblings, Stella LeBouef (Lucius), Alice Babin (Leon), Doris Comardelle (Roy), Thelma Ourso (Pat), Stanley Bergeron, Clifton Bergeron (Mabel) and Henry Bergeron (Lillian); and his grandsons, Chad Gusevik and Rodney Bergeron.

He is survived by: his children, Julie Gusevik, Donna Smith (Perry) and Richard Bergeron (Debra); his grandchildren, Mindy Sorrels, Rune Gusevik (Tonya), Dani Smith, Dana Comeaux (William) and Randy Bergeron; and his great grandchildren, Todd Tidwell, Jared Smith, Cristina Sabo, Olivia Mendoza, Andreas Gusevik, Tobias Gusevik, Espen Comeaux and Evelynn Gusevik. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
