He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Frances Plaisance and Idola Frickey Billiot; his grandmother Louise Touchard Plaisance; his in-laws, Lewin and Juanita "Nita" Pizani; and his brothers-in-law, Eugene Pizani, Lewin Pizani Jr. (Donna) and Stuart Pizani.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen "Prudy" Pizani; his children, Lea Forbes (Richard) and Lawrence Plaisance Jr. (Mitzi); his grandchildren, Hunter Forbes (Layna), Lucas and Liam Plaisance; and his siblings, Freddie Plaisance (late Sheila), Linda Boudreaux (Larry), Debra Richardelle (late Zyrome) and Vickie Gisclair (Regan).
A rosary was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
