He was predeceased by: his child Devin Cook; his parents, Lawrence Cook, Sr. and Sheila Greco Cook; and his brother John Cook. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Lirette Cook; his son Brent Roundtree; his grandson Andre Cook; and his daughter-in-law Emily Chuter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hosanna Church (2215 Barataria Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
He coordinated volunteers for numerous organizations such as New Orleans Sports Foundation, Bridge House/Grace House, M.S. Tour for Cure, Crescent City Classic runs, and Lafreniere Christmas in the Park to name a few.
