He was predeceased by: his wife Anita Babin Adams; his parents, Annette Adams and Edgar Adams; and his sister Enola Autin. He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Adams and Lynne DeSalvo (David); his siblings, Rosemary Falgout, Roy Adams, Lester Adams, Pearl Foret, Dudley Adams, Nora Schouest and Clifton Adams; his grandchildren, Albert Riley, Jr., Branden Morvant (Amy), Lauren Perrin (Morgan) and Derek Morvant (Heather); his stepgrandsons, David DeSalvo, Jr. and Eric DeSalvo; his great grandchildren, Chase Ronquille, Alexander Riley, Logan Morvant and Morgan Perrin, IV; and his stepgreat-grandson Elijah Brooks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
