It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Marty Collins of Marrero, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lynne T. Collins; his children, Devonsylette Collins, Herman M. Collins, II and Brittany Collins; his stepsons, Brandon, Brett and Brian Burkett; his parents, Herman Collins and Mildred August Collins; and his siblings, Donald Collins, Cornelius Collins, Jo Ann Lockett and Delores Williams. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
