He was predeceased by: his wife Delores McGuffey; his son Larry McGuffey; his parents, George McGuffey and Rose Sherman; and his siblings, Elizabeth James, Donna Sherman, Leon Jones and Solomon Price.
He is survived by: his children, Belinda McGuffey, Henry McGuffey, Jr., Anthony McGuffey, Renee McGuffey, Reginald Henry and Robert Drummer; and his siblings, L'esther Smith, Annette L'herrisse and Willie Sherman.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 8:30 AM and at 9:00 AM at the Davis Mortuary Service (6820 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
