He is survived by: his wife Joann Bordelon Pitre; his children, Shannon Enclade (Michael), Gerald Joseph Pitre, III (Tricia), James Naquin, Jr., Jennifer Plaisance (Alton) and Jacqueline Naquin; his grandchildren, Victoria Enclade (Paiton), Michael Enclade, III (Maegan), Gerald Pitre, IV (Jessie), Justin Pitre, Arthur Plaisance and Jaceline Naquin; and his former wife Jeannie Enclade.

A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072).
