He was predeceased by: his father Henry Roussell, Sr.; his siblings, Henry, Jr., Harold, Sr., Clarence Roussell, Marvin Gaines, Sr., Ruby McCall and Lorainer Cuillier; his father-in-law Ralph August; and his brothers-in-law, Roland McCall, Gary Carter and Anthony Cuillier.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene August Roussell; his children, Caynon Roussell, Ernest Roussell, Jr. and Kama Roussell (Shannon); his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Elantra, Kameron and Megan; his siblings, Richard Roussell (Shirley), Norma Johnson (Junius) and Gloria Carter; his mother-in-law Betty August; and his siblings-in-law, Harriet, Juanita Gaines, Joyce Roussell, Charisse O'Brien, Rhonda Johnson (Timothy), Chandra and Chareka August. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church (1000 Walkertown Way, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
