She is survived by: her children, Leon Smothers, Jr. (Kathleen), Leona Carter, Beatrice Vincent and Angel Hill (Randy); her brothers, Jules Payne, Joseph Jones and Walter Jones; her niece Norma Champagne (Adam); her son-in-law Mack Vincent, Sr.; her siblings-in-law, Myrtle Smothers, Amy Dixon, Henry Smothers, Sr. and Charles Smothers, Sr.; and her goddaughter Melva Thomas (James). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
