She was predeceased by: her child Chanez Hart; her parents, Edward Jones, Jr. and Julia Mae Palmer; her grandparents, Edward Jones, Sr., Estelle Bolden, Benjamin F. Palmer and Rosalean M. Palmer; and her parents-in-law, John Houston, Jr. and Margaret Houston.
She is survived by: her husband John Houston; her children, Larry D. Manning, Jr. and Aubrey Devance Manning; her stepchildren, Joy Houston, Hope Houston, Faith Houston and John Houston III; and her sibling Sometria Jones. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
