She was predeceased by: her parents, Mansfield Wilkerson and Hattie Blackmon; her siblings, Eddie Mae Ashley, Evelyn Williams, A. C. Blackmon, Rogers, Harold Wilkerson and Julius Thompson; and her godparent Eddie Wetherspoon.
She is survived by: her children, Arriane Wilkerson and Javon Miles, Sr.; her grandchildren, Shemar Wilkerson, Evarri, Evion Blakes, Javon, Jr., Shane and Jayden; her siblings, Rebecca Thomas, Carolyn Thomas, Rosell Taylor (Melvin), Jacqulyn Anderson (Michael), David Blackmon, Sr. (Bobbie), Rev. Robert Blackmon (Patsy) and Rev. Larry Blackmon, Sr. (Mary); and her godparent Bobbie Bobbie Blackmon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church (1738 L B Landry Ave, New Orleans, LA 70114). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
