He is survived by: his significant other Yelitza Eugene Gray; his children, Danyell Gilmore, Chyawanda Pierre (Clifford), Darrielle Gray, Darryl Carter, Sr. (Taylor), Darrinisha Gales (Je) and Darren Gray; his grandchildren, Da'John, Davon, Daveon, Dasha, Da'Laya, D'Asia, Chyaionna, Carlai Gilmore, Khalia Hanifa, Dakota, Darryl III, Tristan Carter, Tah'Lia, Sanai, Sa'Mirr, Siah Gray, Jeson and Blythe Gales; his great grandchild De'Arri Gilmore; his mother Lillian White Gray; his siblings, Easton Gray, Jr. (Joy), Andrew Gray, Sr. (Patrisha), Marvin Gray, Sr. (Elaine) and Dana Samuels (Chistopher); his parents-in-law, Rev. Albert Sr., Shelia Ketchens and Roy Walker (Carlita); his godchildren, Morgan White, A'Briyelle Benjamin and Shyrus Collins; and his close friends, Enrique Johnson and James Lynch, Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ages Baptist Church (6533 Acre Rd, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
