The passing of Darren Valex Walker (Marrero, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 10, 2025 at the age of 39. He is survived by: his daughters, Desiree Analida Walker and Liv Fe Walker; his wife Lucy Barrera Walker; his parents, David Walker and Veronica Walker; and his siblings, Deltrice Davis (Michael), Dionne Osifekun (Jide), David Walker II (Erika), Derek Walker (Tammy) and Daniel Walker (Lisa). He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, extended family, and countless friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Calvary International Worship Center (1600 Westwood Dr, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
