She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Elizabeth Gregoire Skaggs (Matthew); her sister Zella Hanks Nannby; her parents, Johnetta Umbach Hanks and Maurice Hanks; and also James Gregoire Sr..
She is survived by: her sons, James Gregoire Jr. (Denise) and Michael Gregoire; her grandchildren, Taylor Edmonds, James Gregoire III (Kailey), Timothy Guillot (Jenny Tommeraas) and Daniel Gregoire (Becca); her great grandchildren, Roman Gregoire, Rylan Gregoire, Caleb Guillot, Amelia Guillot, Gabriel Skaggs, Vincent Gregoire, Dane Gregoire and Blakeley Penouilh; her godchildren, Michelle Frank (Ronald II), Raymond Ackerman and Bill Hulin; and her granddaughter-in-law Sarah Guillot. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
