He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Joseph Simoneaux Sr. and Pearl Hebert Simoneaux; his grandson Matthew Steven Haas; and his siblings, Clay J. Simoneaux Jr., Joyce Simoneaux Oubre (Blaine) and Carol Simoneaux.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Acosta Simoneaux; his child Torrie Simoneaux Haas (Mark); his granddaughter Rachael Haas Rayes (Steven); his great grandchildren, Wyatt Matthew Rayes and Sawyer James Rayes; and his sister Betty Simoneaux Schwab. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
One of his signature projects included his contribution to the development of Camp Woodmen, a youth campsite in Abbeville, La.
