She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Simoneaux and Sidonia Simoneaux; her former husband Jeffrey Camardelle; her siblings, Lester Simoneaux (Belle), Roselus Simoneaux (Joyce), Ira Simoneaux (Daisy), Wilfred Simoneaux, Jr., Nolan Simoneaux, Lula May Collura (Mike) and Lelia Volpi (Anthony); and her stepdaughter Thea Hogan.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Vercher; her son Michael Camardelle (Donna Carroll); her sister Mary Eve Jones; her sisters-in-law, Joycelyn Chauvin and Lula Mae Simoneaux; her stepgrandchildren, Misty and Shannon; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jeremy, Marissa, Kaitlyn, Vincent, Madison, Courtney and James.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church (146 4th St, Westwego, LA 70094). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, masses would be appreciated as well as donating to EWTN in Betty's name.
