He is survived by: his wife Katherine Powell Patterson; his children, Catherine Whitt (Antonio) and Kenneth Powell; his grandchildren, Olufemi "Jude" Ogundipe, Kenneth Powell, Jr., Antonio "Miles" Whitt and Bella Whitt; his siblings, Gregory Patterson, Sr. (Kathy), William Patterson (Jackie), Mark Patterson (Dimitri), Allen Patterson (Adonis), Ken Patterson, Kathy Patterson, Paulette Patterson Zeno and Marsha Patterson; and his godchildren, Ahna Williams, Courtney Thompson, Joy Patterson and Jo'Syah Patterson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
