She is survived by: her sons, Brian Firstley (Anna) and Troy Firstley; her stepdaughter Fannie M. Handy Jefferson; her siblings, Harry Gaines (Eunice), Sterling Gaines (Laverne), Guy Patterson (Marie), Ricky Patterson (Adaline), Contrella Norman, Malinda Hills, Sylvia Gaines, Denise Bellock and Tammy Leblanc (Merwin); her siblings-in-law, Willie Mae Brown, Rosetta Roth, Lela Johnson, Joel Cavalier, Annette Mackie-Keith, Delores Charles, Doris C. Richardson, Janet C. Smith and Jeffery Cavalier; and her friends, Delores Jones, Albertine Celestine and Ann Cobbs. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
