With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andre Fuqua (Marrero, Louisiana), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 12, 2023 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Griffin; his stepfather Saul Griffin; his grandmother Annie M. Mercier; and his brother Arthur Fuqua. He is survived by: his children, Paul (Vanessa) of Washington, Andre, Jazmin, Jamar Francis, Khadijah and Domanique Fuqua; his father Donald Fuqua; his siblings, Tyrone, Kenneth Griffin (Linda), Lloyd Fuqua (Rita), Donald Striplan, Japanicia Lewis (Kenneth), Crystal Black (Herbert), Tanya Johnson (Donald), Gequatta Burres (Nelson) and Shelly Ealey (Cliff); and his aunts and uncles, Mary Ann Olison and Zuri Barton of Dayton, OH. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Interment: Will Be Private. DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC ATTENDANCE WILL BE LIMITED. IT IS MANDATORY EVERYONE ATTENDING WEAR A FACE MASK OR SOME TYPE OF FACE COVERING.
