He was predeceased by: his wife Georgette Desselle Brevelle; his parents, Villere Pierre Brevelle, Sr. and Julia Bordelon Brevelle; his daughter Jettie McCann; and his siblings, Weldon Brevelle, Lester "Bick" Brevelle, Delia Brevelle Dupuy, Evelyn Brevelle Bordelon, Marceline "Patsy" Brevelle Lovato and Sybil Clements.
He is survived by: his daughters, Eillen LaBorde (Robert) of Marksville and Annette Gauthier (Daniel) of Marksville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
