He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orney Dauzat and Villia Dauzat; his wife Laura Louise Laborde; his children, Tommy Dauzat (Missy), Jennifer Dauzat Lovelace (Michael) and Julie Dauzat Grunewald (Hampton); his grandchildren, Katherine Dauzat, Walker Dauzat, Rylee Lovelace, Lucie Grunewald, Jack Lovelace, Anna Grunewald, Ruby Grunewald and Reed Lovelace; his siblings, Dyrel Dauzat (Chalayne), Steven Dauzat (Irby), Rae Hair and Fae Smith (Pete); his sister-in-law Diane Dauzat; his mother-in-law Peggy Laborde; his brother Ardie Dauzat; his brother-in-law Ronnie Hair; and his father-in-law Lucien P. Laborde. He was also cherished by in-laws, nieces, nephews, god-children, and extended family.
