He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gary Evans Jones and Donni Crosby Jones; and his daughter Joanna Jones. He is survived by: his spouse Lillie "Bobbie" Jones; his children, Jonathan Jones of Effie, Selita Robinson (Mike) of Deville, Rachel Miles (Jeff) of Ruby and Susanna Duckering (Tim) of Marksville; his sister Lorraine Ayers of Olar, S. C.; his grandchild Kayla Parker; his great grandchildren, Carter McEntyre, Aaron Goff, Paxton Miles, Wyatt Woodard and Joe Parker; and his grandsons, Ben Woodard, Jake Woodard, Lee Miles and Matthew Miles.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made toward the children's playground "Candyland Playground" memorial fund to be utilized by the children of the church and school of the Nazarene.
