He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Rapoza (Williams); his parents, Eleanor R. Rapoza and John F. Rapoza, Sr.; and his brothers, John F. Rapoza, Jr. and Gerald Rapoza.
He is survived by: his close friend Jody Allen Rapoza, Jr.; his daughter Nicole L. Conceicao (DeBlois) of New Bedford, MA; his grandson Richard John Cornell of New Bedford, MA; his siblings, Cheryl McQuade (Rapoza) and Danield Rapoza of Rhode Island; his mother-in-law Eva Faye Williams; and his sisters-in-law, Bev and Deb. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and all his friends.
