He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilton B. McCann, Sr. (Ellen McCann) and Blanche R. Smigura McCann (Emmeth Baker); and his sisters, Wanda Schoknecht, Joyce Keneally and Jean Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Carmouche McCann; his children, David Wayne McCann (Velma) of CenterPoint, LA., Jessica McCann of Marksville, LA. and Melody Scallan of Marksville, LA.; his brother Roger McCann (Debbie) of Natchitoches, LA.; and his grandchildren, Karlie Stracener, Hailey Scallan, Brayden Brossette, Avarie Nunez, Isabella Brossette, Blanche Fisher and David Bachman. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
