She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest H. Kennedy; and her parents, Betty Griffin and Preston Griffin. She is survived by: her sister Carla Griffin of Marksville; her cousins, Tommy Griffin of El Dorado, AR, Debbie Loyd of Ho, Melinda Arnold of New Burn, NC and Pat Moore of Naples, FL; her daughter Alaina Garcia of Gonzales, LA; and her pets, Sadie and Libby.
