She was predeceased by: her husband Jerald LaCour; her parents, Clarence Ford and Rosa Leviege Ford; her son Pernell Ford; and her siblings, Irion Ford and Doritha Ford.
She is survived by: her children, Lamell James LaCour of Jasper, TX., Leviege LaCour of Marksville, LA., Farrell Dauzat of Pineville, LA., Damian Ford of Flint, MI. and Rose Maureen LaCour Augustine. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home (445 E Bontempt St, Marksville, LA 71351). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (120 S Preston St, Marksville, LA 71351).
