She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Bernard and Mary Bernard; and her children, Charlene Kelone, Dryon (Becky Bordelon) and Ewell Bordelon Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Ewell Bordelon Sr.; her daughters, Cynthia Turner (Mitch) of Gonzales, Stephanie Rowe (Ed) of Prairieville and Lisa Dauzat (Dale) of Marksville; her siblings, Davis "Tony" Bernard (Catherine) of Marksville and Daisy "Sis" Juneau of Bunkie; her grandchildren, Stacey Elmer, Jill Kelone, Derek Kelone, Emily Dauzat Holden and Jacob Rowe; and her great grandchild Ethan Elmer.
