He was predeceased by: his parents, Laudry Carmouche and Gladys Fontenot Carmouche; and his sisters, Eva Mayo and Shirley McCann. He is survived by: his children, Eric Carmouche of Hessmer, Daniel Joseph Carmouche, II of Marksville, Landry Carmouche of Pineville, Dana Davis of El Dorado, AR. and Lori Carmouche of Marksville; and his siblings, Terrell Carmouche of Marksville, Davis Carmouche of Marksville and Martha Moras of Hessmer. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home (445 E Bontempt St, Marksville, LA 71351). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Kash 's Funeral Service (445 W Bon Temps St, Marksville, LA 71351).
