It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clayton John Lachney (Marksville, Louisiana), who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Clayton John may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolan Lachney and Bessie White. He is survived by: his daughters, Kayla Dixon (Carl), Courtney Vead (Gabe) and Laken Rogers (Devin); the mother of his children Tami Gaspard; his grandchildren, Bryce, Lawson Dixon, Wyatt Gardner and Millie Vead; his sisters, Seena Prentice (James) and Jessica "Cappie" Laird (Shawn); and his stepfather Jim White (Carmen). He is also survived by nephews, cousins, extended family.
A graveside service was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cushman Cemetery - Marksville (230 Tarleton St, Marksville, LA 71351).
