She was predeceased by: her wife Dyron Bordelon; and also Becky Bordelon. She is survived by: her parents, Ewell J. Bordelon Sr. of Marksville and Delta Bernard Bordelon of Marksville; her children, Stacey Elmer of Alexandria, Jill Kelone (David Hooper) of Alexandria and Derek Kelone of Austin, TX; her grandson Ethan Elmer of Alexandria; her siblings, Ewell "Dogie" Bordelon Jr. of Marksville, Cynthia Turner (Mitch) of Gonzales, Stephanie Rowe (Ed) of Prairieville and Lisa Dauzat (Dale) of Marksville; her nephew Jacob Rowe of Lake Charles; her niece Emily Dauzat of Alexandria; and also Johnny Vead of Marksville. She is also survived by children whom she raised to be independent and ambitious, and lived to see them all become successful adults in their chosen fields, as well as, a grandson.
