With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alphfia Catherine Rachal Dauzat (Marksville, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Joseph Dauzat; her parents, John Murphy and Ana Madge Rachal; and her siblings, Keith Rachal, Littell Rachal and Eugene Rachal.
She is survived by: her children, Don Dauzat Sr. (Gina), Kimberly Brouillette (Kevin), Catherine Normand and Rachel Kelly (Ronald "Cookie"); her grandchildren, Don Jr., Victoria, Taylor, John Sr., Donovan, Bruce Jr., Danielle, Heather, Jesse, Louis, Halie, Emiley, Evan and Molly; and her sister Emma Rachal. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
