She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Matlock; her parents, Shelby Thompson and Ella Batson Thompson; her children, Stanley Matlock and Lorea Matlock; her grandchildren, D. J. Corbin and Carla Waller; and her siblings, Gene Thompson, Sandy Hayes and Shirley Carroll.
She is survived by: her children, Marvin Matlock (Terri), Marshall Matlock (Deb), Susan Matlock, Ricky Matlock (Reba), Leatha Fox (John) and Rhonda Matlock; and her siblings, Bill Thompson (Landa), Mike Thompson and Geneva Johnson. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren.
