He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Hines and Mileta P. Hines; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Hines, Howard Hines, Evelyn Norris and Betty Keysacker.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Bernice Hines; his sons, Robert Hines of Marion, LA, Rodney Hines (Denise Hines) of Marion and Raymond Hines, Jr. (Pete) of Marion, LA; and his sister Opal Hale of Fayetteville, AR.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
