With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Jean Chrisman of Marion, Louisiana, who passed away on October 26, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Milas Medlin and Maud Medlin; her former husband Charles McCartney; her sons, Kevin and Jimmy McCartney; her grandson Justin McCartney; and her siblings, Jack, Milas, Elton, Alva, Toby Medlin, Sarah Medlin Ward and Iva Medlin Pardue.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Chrisman; her sons, Danny McCartney (Meg) and Jerry McCartney (Veronica); and her grandchildren, Erin Gravois, Dawn Hinton, Jason, Miki, Huey and Ty McCartney. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
