It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Sue Crain (Marion, Louisiana), who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Benoit Crain; her parents, Jurd Pardue and Alma Pardue; and her siblings, J. C., Quinton, Lloyd, Dempsey, Leo, Kenyon Pardue, Parline Pardue, Katheline Pardue Harrell, Ernesteen Pardue Westbrook, Iris Pardue Gray and Carrie Pardue Springfield.
She is survived by: her children, David Alan Crain and Darla Kay Crain; her sister Joye Pardue Baker; her granddaughters, Bethany Crain Dunlop and Hailey Crain Shelton; and her great grandchildren, Jonah Perkins, Brynlee Shelton and Lincoln Shelton. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dean Baptist Church (2309 LA-827, Marion, LA 71260). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dean Baptist Church Cemetery (2309 LA-827, Marion, LA 71260).
