With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Louis Thomas Jewell of Maringouin, Louisiana, born in Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on August 31, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wylie Barrow Jewell; her son-in-law L. Lane Roy; and her grandson Camden George Roy. She is survived by: her cousins, George, Milldrum and Marjorie Kloss; her children, Dr. Baylor L. Jewell (Linda), Julie Jewell Roy and Wylie Barrow Jewell, Jr. (Joan); her grandchildren, Courtney Gremillion (Duane), Dustin Blake Jewell (Kristin), Bonnie Blue Roy, Sarah Jewell, Katherine Jewell, Abigail Jewell, Baylor L. Jewell, Jr., Adam J. Roy and Lane Patrick Roy; her great grandchildren, Parker Gremillion, Carter Gremillion and Camille Jewell; and also Phyllis.
