He is survived by: his wife Peggy Anne Smith Carriere of Maringouin; his children, Dana Carriere Gosserand (Thomas), Deborah Carriere Cifreo (Chad), John Edward Carriere (Kaley) and Brian Paul Carriere (Sarah); his grandchildren, Morgan, Annie, Marie Gosserand, Jacob, Micah, Adam Cifreo, Alyse, Nathan, Nicholas Carriere, Colton and Callie Carriere; his sister Linda Carriere Walker (Jimmy); and his pet Poochie Jack.
