He was predeceased by: his parents, Zack Wilson Brumley, Sr. and Tessie Margaret Counts Brumley; and his sister Sharlet Layrain Alford. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kennedy Brumley of Many, LA; his daughters, Paula Brumley Sanders (Rodney) of Hornbeck, LA, Kittie Brumley Clark (Kelvin) of Many, LA and Wendy Brumley Adams (Jamey) of Many, LA; his siblings, Bobbie Cutrer (Ben), Doris Procell (Roy) and DeWayne Brumley (Wilma); and his grandchildren, Raven Williams (Ryver Clark), Casey Sanders, Joseph Sanders, Dakota Sanders, Zack Adams, Ryver Clark and Zander Adams. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
