He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Galligan and Joanna Galligan; his wife Martha Maxwell (Mitzie); his children, William (Tiffany) and Michelle (Cory Ormsby); his grandchildren, Mason, William (Blake), Carter and Beckham; his siblings, Gene (Ellen), Karen (Fred Freeland) and Bob; his sisters-in-law, Marilynn Waller and Carolyn (Jimmy Goodman); and his nieces and nephews, Michael Waller, James Goodman, Jason Willhite, Kyle Galligan, Chad Galligan, Meg Harris, Wendy Colvin and Rachael Galligan.
