He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Batson and Dolly Batson; his sisters, Geraldine Teasley and Melinda Joy West; and his daughter Shana Batson.
He is survived by: his children, David Wayne Batson, Lela Ray, Mandy Batson, Diedra Batson, Jackie Montgomery, Jessica Batson and Louis David; his siblings, Sue Mitchell, Philip Batson, Dale Batson, Cathy Sepulvado (Kelli) and Pam Westfall; and his niece Lisa Cook. He is also survived by Grandchildren and Nieces and Nephews.
