He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Waters Berry; and his parents, Lester Berry Sr. and Georgie King Berry. He is survived by: his children, Lila Pardee (Harold), Patty Weeks (Michael) and Joey Berry (Ashley); his siblings, Nancy Gibson and James Berry (Debbie); his grandchildren, Dylan Pardee (Dana), Hanna Armand (Ryan), Alaina Creighton (Chris), Taylor Berry and Gage Berry of Morgan Berry, R. J; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Creighton, Parker Armand, Nathan Starnes and Asher Starnes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
