He was predeceased by: his mother Eula Mae Murrell (Mitchell); and his siblings, Sandra Ford, Janice Lawrence, Johnnie Chism, Calvin Dean Smith and Butch Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Johnson (Richardson) of Many, LA; his children, Jerry Allen Johnson (Cynthia) of Zwolle, LA and Kelly Johnson Sparks (Philip) of Many, LA; his sisters, Pat Merrill of Shreveport, LA and Suzanne Ford of Many, LA; his grandchildren, Conner Sparks, Cade Johnson, Sarah Sparks, Megan Martin (Taylor) and Morgan McCreary; and his great grandchildren, Kylei Coleman and Carley Martin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
