He was predeceased by: his parents, William McCollister and Gladys McCollister (Jackson). He is survived by: his children, Bret McCollister (Judy) of Woodville, TX., Mark McCollister (Nikki) of Woodville, TX., Lynn Manthei (Dennis) of Woodville, TX. and Brittany McCollister (Kyle Hilburn); his brother Dean McCollister (Mary) of Shreveport, LA.; his grandchildren, David, Chassity, Jeni, Allyn, Eric, Nikki, Beaux, Trenton, Carlos III and Cardelia; his close friend Betty Armstrong; and his former spouse Kallie Walraven. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
