She is survived by: her parents, Ellis Kirkland Sibley and Bessie Wilson Sibley; her husband Jack Carter; her sister Frankie Piscitelli of Albuquerque; her children, Mike Carter (Cindy) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Carolyn Ricks (Hanan) of Many, Louisiana, Jeffery Carter (Lori) of Roswell, Georgia and Ginger Dugas (Glenn) of Lafayette, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Jacque Ricks Thurman, Jimmy Ricks, Kathy Carter Gibbons, Amanda Carter and Travis Carter; her great grandchildren, Ty Thurman, Brooke Thurman, Sophie Gibbons and Carter Gibbons; and her siblings, Ellis Ray Sibley, Robert Sibley, Helen Lehr, Clara Anders and Cleola Genaurdi (Kitty).
