He is survived by: his wife Barbara Armstrong of Zwolle, Louisiana; his sons, David Jay Armstrong (Vivian) of Zwolle and Jimmy Dean Armstrong (Carmella) of Many, Louisiana; his stepsons, Greg Dyess of Mansfield and Lloyd Dyess of Bossier City, Louisiana; his daughters, Jan Bonnette (Terry) of Tyler and Jerri Lynn Tovar of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his stepdaughter LaJuana Gooden (Jerrell) of Mansfield, Louisiana; and his siblings, Sue Walraven of Stonewall, Louisiana, Lavell Armstrong of Stonewall and Doug Armstrong of Joaquin, Texas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.
